This term 4th class were learning about Italy in Geography. In our pods we completed group projects about Italy. We each had a role within the group and a specific Italian topic to research. We completed informative and eye-catching projects and presented our class mates with an oral report summarising our research.
We were focusing on procedural writing in English. We made some mouth-watering pizzas in our pods and wrote up the recipe as part of our procedural writing. We had specific headings and language we had to include and used checklists to self-assess our work. Of course, we got to eat the pizzas too!
In Art, we were looking at the print-making strand. We watched a video online and used paper and scissors to create our own custom made stencils. We then used sponges to create prints using these stencils.
